Undersized yo-yos

Pay it forwards are single-handedly the best way to try new yoyos. It’s how the Motion Perpetual made it onto my wishlist, and how I discovered the nuance of brands like FeatherSpin and SpinWorthy, alongside helping me refine my preferences.

I tend to think we do really well in the undersized category. Most of our undersized yoyos are sold out. Nimbus is the most readily available at retailers and is a capped yoyo with metal rings sandwiching them to the body.

If you can find one the Something Slash is a ton of fun. Bi-material not Bi-metal. Delrin body and SS rings. I got one on here on a whim and I love it.

For me, I love undersized yoyos. They are my favourite. But to me, aesthetics matter first. Some stuff you guys have is amazing looking. And the fact you interact with the community is a great sign from any company. Thank you!!

I would just like to add here…. The Perpendicular is a fairly unique design. Other undersized throws aren’t going to have the same characteristics as it does simply because they’re undersized. What you are noticing is the differences that you hear people speak of. 2 yo-yos can have almost identical dimensions and look nearly identical but one could be magical while the other is just meh. Coming to this realization is one way people end up with large collections.

D bearing might be key to the appeal. Undersized + smaller bearings is a distinctive combination, but IME, does not guarantee that other factors won’t be most prominent. Undersized D bearings rank among my most and least favorites.

@hsb Have you tried the C3 x hspin antipodal-point? It will be my first D bearing yoyo

I haven’t tried that one.

I have one! I don’t usually love small yoyos but that one is awesome. Great D bearing yoyo, love the shape, totally rips

I appreciate you for sharing. I was drawn to it when I seen it in a video recently but I was on the fence. It was the size and shape of it that I couldn’t get out of my head, and the colorway is incredible so I pulled the trigger

All I play is undersized and mini’s and a few micros. Anyways if your looking for an undersized throw with brass there’s the Mini Hummingbird but I’m pretty sure they are all sold out everywhere. So maybe you could find one on the forum

Yeah I originally got it because I liked the finish but it’s also a great player. Really pleasant shape, great yoyo.

That’s a beauty. It’s the purple one with the green pc rings I ordered here and is scheduled for delivery tomorrow. I fell in love with the shape, size and color. I’m hoping it fits me well. Thank you for sharing.

So you’re saying that you on the positional and the perpendicular they look similar so that’s why I didn’t get the positional I’m trying to find something a little different but how do they throw compared to each other

The Spinworthy Flying Lemon is hands down the best undersized throw I’ve ever owned and I regret selling it every single day

Looks nice but unless someone is selling one at a killer deal in j interested in paying the high cost of 110. I bought the MK1 ring bearer and I regret spending that much. I’m hoping someone will trade me something nice undersized for it soon
