Unboxing & Review - RE:Devil Yo-Yo

I went ahead and grabbed a rainbow one. Tough decision on choosing a color. Really like the other “d” bearing model I got of yours, the Daredevil. Looking forward to trying this.

GWAY Throws is excited to welcome Nicole to the team!

Nicole hails from the USA and although she recently re-introduced herself into the community, she has been throwing since 2018. In addition to Yo-Yo’s she also enjoys Slacklining and hopes to one day incorporate that into her yoyoing.

We are excited to have her on the team and look forward to her future contributions!

The Re:DEVIL is an updated release of one of our favorite throws, The Daredevil (2021). There have been some subtle changes that make a big difference in play while keeping the spirit of the original alive.

SPECS -
Diameter: 54MM
Width: 44.23
String Gap Width: 4.6
Weight: 63.5
Bearing: D
Alloy: 7075

The increased diameter makes it more comfortable to hold, the extra weight gives it more power and the wider string gap makes it more forgiving with complicated string layering.

I just learned of GWAY Throws and I’m so torn between a Black/Red Esper (preferred colorway) or the Re:Devil. Ugh, how do I decide?

Just in time for the new daredevil season!

If you prefer a rounder, more bubbly profile I would go with the Esper; If you prefer a slightly faster and lighter feel I would go with the RE:Devil!

I enjoy them both but am obviously biased

Is one more stable than the other for an inconsistent thrower?

I would give a slight edge to the RE:Devil but they are both very stable and friendly to all levels of play.
