Just what I needed! Thanks @GTDropKnot and @Splizacular for videos! I always appreciate the extra help!
I mean it is similar looking
Week 37 Double or Pacman
Ok gang, no pain this week. Gonna take it back to @ChrysaeThrows and a fun trick that’s not too hard at all. The hardest part of this one is getting the rejection consistent. To that end, just note that the rejection happens on the down stroke not the hop. In the video he gives the tip to keep hands spread apart for the rejection. This is true, but also just concentrate on getting a good hop and a solid land on the correct string and the rejection should start happening.
Good luck and have fun! Have a great weekend!
Hi everyone!
Sorry, been a bit busy. Here are the tricks from the last 3 weeks. Thanks for keeping up the posting. Special thanks to @GTDropKnot and @Splizacular for explaining Instant Ramen.
Week 35 - A Star in Paris
Week 36 - Instant Ramen
Week 37 - Double or Pacman
TAW 2025 Week 37 - Double or Pacman
Week 38 — Beyond the Fold
There’s something about repeaters like this that I really love. This trick isn’t the most complex trick we’ve done, but it encourages getting more comfortable with another variation of a jade whip.
Ok all caught up (except for that Hajime trick lol)
Week #36 Instant Ramen
Yoyo: Canopy AL
Week #37 Double or Pacman
Yoyo: Atmos Noma
Know when to hold ‘em know when to fold ‘em
Week 38 — Beyond the Fold
Week 39–Waya Trick 20
Yo we’re doing this Yuta trick this week. The outside arm bit is a little funky so holler if you get stuck.
still trying to get beyond the fold recorded! i got the move down but i haven’t been able to get it consistent enough to repeat. gonna keep at it cuz I’m trying to step up my slack and whip game
Is the yoyo just passing behind the NTH in the second part?
Nah not really like the yoyo goes around and tranfers into the “top” string. It is pretty hard to explain with words but there is a transition from the yoyo being in the mount it is in before going around the outside to another string but you shouldn’t have to think about it once you feel the feel of doing it. One general tip is that if you get the hands more vertical for the transition, it makes it way easier. I will make a video to try to help explain it in a bit because it is unintuitive for sure and the tut is super super simple and has very little call outs to the finer details.
Edit: aight here’s a walkthrough
Yo thanks for the help!
