nice one! and thanks, glad you’re enjoying the picks so far
Great trick. Full disclosure this is another repeat from a few years back that i had a hard time with initially. Stick with TaW and you’ll surprise yourself at what you can learn by the end of the year…or 2… deff enjoyed relearning this one. Back to work on #15 and #16.
great advice! yo i gotta ask, i know from ur team profile page ur in pt but there’s always an empty house in ur vids. do yall shut down for lunch or sumthin?
sry im 100% the cat that curiosity killed
Would yall like to see some 5a tricks run in May?
- yes, just 5a
- no, just 1a
- both
I’m a Chiropractor. 2 years ago i closed my office and started working for another practice, a pandemic sorry story no one is interested in. The only time i film is before patients, during lunch or at home when the kids are not around.
ah dope. that’s what i figured but i thought there was always a chance everyone was just on the other side of the camera watching and being super quiet
nice fh work
And Whut
That’s a SETI, isn’t it?
Yes, its very fun yoyo and makes such a nice sound when binding
5a Suspense
Welcome to 5a May! Based on feedback, we’re going to run both 5a and 1a tricks concurrently this month. If you want to focus on the 5a elements that’s fine, as well as if you would prefer to stick to the 1a and ignore the 5a thats totally fine as well. However, we hope you will have fun with both and if you’ve never tried 5a before, now is a great time!
The first 5a trick we will be running is one i learned recently and was suggested to me at the time by @mable . Also, it’s from our own Ty @Beverchakus! It is a very fun trick with some great basic 5a elements. The only prereq is that you can throw and bind with a cw attached. That’s it!
So have fun, dive in, and give your finger a break!
Week 18 1a - hand hold whip
For folks who don’t want to give their finger a break (or just generally still want a 1a trick for the week), we’re doing this element from rewind. It felt like a nice pair with this week’s 5a trick - one longer trick sequence and one shorter element.
Let us know how the pair works for you since this is twice as many tricks as usual!
Quick and lazy because I managed to cut my TH thumb sorta bad earlier today and playing yoyo sorta sucks rn
I really like linking this combo to people wanting to start learning 5A because it gives you a sense of “wow I’m actually playing 5A” immediately, rather feeling like they’re just playing 1A while occasionally doing a singular 5A element. This entire combo feels cohesive and built around transitions that take advantage of the counterweight.
I recorded suspense twice last year and again … can not find it
Haha yeah I know. And “name your files” is the big take away (again)
