I love this dude’s style, but it’s so weird how much he looks like me (or I look like him idk) but the blonde hair

Yo I got some feedback that this tutorial is hard to follow. I truly believe this trick is accessible by everyone that has learned any of the tricks so far so I made a supplemental video to highlight the steps. I’m sorry this is not well produced. Hopefully it helps though bc there are only a few steps and I have faith everyone can figure it out.

It’s not too bad but I keep finishing with an extra wrap around my thumb. I can get it fine but I either pop out in the last part spreading my fingers from the top or twisting it out before and it looks sloppy

Yeah there is a lot of finger curling and rotating that goes on and I should have commented on that . Just focus on how the fingers are curling and twisting and I’m sure you’ll get it :call_me_hand:

I’ll figure out that extra thumb wrap at the end but this is what I have so far

Props on you for keeping that shirt on. Ugly loss today but in all kinds of weather

I have a few Gators shirts I got as a gift and have to tell people in public who want to talk football that I watch exactly zero games every year, sounds like I need to call and give my dad a hard time about his boys though.

Okay I got feedback that my last video where I tried to explain the trick is trash and that was good feedback bc it is :skull:. It’s hard to follow and imma try again. I tried to just say all the stuff this time but yo, I’m not good at this hah! I hope this second attempt is better tho and I do hope it helps. There is also a slowmo at the end.

i’m having trouble with the roll, when i roll it and land on the string, nothings falling off💔

Yo okay so I really think it helps to know exactly what string you’re trying to remove from the gap. I tried to highlight it here. It’s the string held by th index. Just picture it swinging around and yourself removing that string from the gap. It is also good to keep more tension throughout the mount so that there is not enough slack to keep the Yoyo wrapped up during that movement.

Okay so I asked Kris Toledo about this trick and specifically the roll part and this is what he said, “Try to roll it more than reject it. It makes it a lot easier.” I have definitely been moving more and more towards the rejecting style but Kris was right and just using the roll is easier. Here is one more vid of this trick with that part in slow mo.

ok we’re getting somewhere, now i’m just having the issue of the trick ending with a weird double gt looking thing instead of the clean gt
