If these are from the same mold and are the same shape as the first run of the opaque ones, then I think the CBC pad recess is too deep, which makes the gap too wide.

But they look pretty. I suppose.

Yes, I know that. It is unfortunate.

But this little detail makes it so that more wraps of string need to be in the gap before the response pad starts gripping the string.

So, basically, the gap is still too wide, no matter the number assigned to it’s width. Trippy, huh?
