TMBR wooden YoYos

Is TMBR still in business? I’m having trouble finding a website or anything mentioned recently.

Thanks

He is taking a break. For throws, it’s BST for now.

It was playtmbr.com but @colinleland is on hiatus after his axle jig broke. He had a good 10 year run. He is a soild player, so I imagine he will be back again someday. He was also very influential to One Drop in their early years

There is also a fan page here on the YYEF

TMBR Appreciation Thread

And most of mine have been posted here over the last few years

I will take a look at those.

Just completed a trade for a This a Way That a Way and was looking to learn more about it.

Thanks

If I recall the story correctly, he’s the reason One Drop (just a regular machine shop at the time) was introduced to yoyos. He walked into the shop and talked to Shawn and David about having a yoyo machined.

The initial influence, and look where that influence has brought modern yoyo too. The irony is that he went on to make wood yoyos afterwards. Arguably some of the Best wooden yoyos in yoyo history :ok_hand:
