I’ve been checking every so often hoping to get another TMBR someday but now the site is gone. I messaged Colin on Instagram but haven’t heard back. Just curious if anyone knows if it’s gone for good or perhaps just on hiatus?

Hopefully just temporary. He’d posted a story showing some blanks ready for turning a couple of weeks ago (some of which were spectraply). More DeHcades are supposed to be coming to YYE too, so unless something is up, the site will be back before too long.

I also messaged Colin over Instagram last week. He confirmed the site was offline, and said that he was taking a break from turning yoyos for the foreseeable future. Said with work and family it was unsustainable. Those were his words. I can understand the yoyos were a significant time commitment, and probably not a great return on that investment. Sad news indeed. He seems like a great guy, and produced a great product.
