Sorry if this has been answered already, but does anyone know exactly what the finish on the black tivayders are? I’ve heard it’s just ano but I’ve also heard it’s a PVD finish 
I don’t think black anodizing is possible on titanium, it isn’t in the spectrum. I’m curious to hear the answer as well

This is from the horse’s mouth as it were. Other posts in the thread say PVD, but it was @codinghorror 's project. And bless him so for it.

I’m guessing this isn’t how they did it
dw: blowtorch and quench in wd-40 repeatedly until right color is achieved
I don’t think torching is practical for large runs. PVD seems much more likely
