Hey y’all, I’m curious as to how people liked the TiSS Hummingbird. Did it play pretty similarly to the standard one?

So I am a huge fan of the Hummingbird. I believe it was my first bi-metal (non Ti) and it continues to be one of my favorite bimetals today. I enjoyed it so much I saved for the day I could by the TiSS. Eventually the day came and I got one. Love the Ti version a great deal too - it’s not going anywhere anytime soon. That being said, they do feel different in the way they play. To me the aluminum version feels noticeably faster and lighter in my hands. That is not to say the Ti feels heavy or slow. It feels on par with other TiSS throws on the market. If you are a big fan of the OG Hummingbird then I say take the dive. Expect some differences, but the soul of the Hummingbird is there. If nothing else I’m sure you can relist for little to no loss if you pay the right price for it.

I have owned both, see my profile picture. The Tiss hummingbird has a little more power and stability. The overall weight is about 1.5g heavier. With the weight increase the acceleration goes down a little. I see tiss as a yoyo showcasing what the manufacturer can do if they go all out. Like the rainbow body (not torched), super thin wall (even for a titanium). However I do not see much performance improvement over Hummingbird.
