Any tips for hitting tricks more consistently?
Practice. Really, the only tip that applies to EVERY trick.

Try to make the trick more fluent as you do them so they are like second nature to you.
I find it helps if you understand what’s actually happening during the trick so you can find the mistakes that are made.
Understanding “why” you do the movements is more important than “how”.
Practice and practice and practice once you get it down bravo!
I find it helps if you record your throwing sessions. Maybe just once a week, put on the camera and film a session where you run through all your tricks and see what looks smooth and what needs more work.
