@Number44 thinks I should allow it to release another Spooky string. Thoughts?

It keeps looking at the candy dish and cackling…

Like the drill motor blown? What drill did you have

This one is a Hyper Tough. Cheap corded one from Walmart.

I highly recommend a Dewalt corded assuming speed control isn’t a big issue. It has variable trigger that is tough to speed control but I’ve used mine with an auger bit to drill post holes, and ran it so much. Abused it thoroughly without it failing.

I’m all in on

The makita ecosystem with power tools. Can’t seem to kill my drill or impact and trust me I’ve abused them. My old hyper tough I started with died and is a play thing my son messes with

At least it’s cheap and easy to replace

At one point I was using the handle from an electric mop, high torque with fairly low max speed.

Seriously considered rebuilding my Bluetooth Lego racecar into an auto string rig

I ended up re-fixing my Genesis drill for now. I want to see if I can fix the dead one before purchasing something new.

With all that sorted, ONE LAST SPOOKY SEASON COLOR COMING ON OCT 1ST!

What was broken on the drill? Motor burnt out or something more simplistic

The Genesis’ direction toggle had broken (I don’t know why this pieces is plastic!) previously, then again. I just re-glued it and put a pin in it to make it hopefully last longer. The Hyper Tough might be the motor…
