Haven’t heard many thoughts on it.
Great chunky throw. Lots of power, nice sized catch zone. I was surprised how much I liked it.
Fatastic throw. I got one last week as my first yoyo purchase in about a year and I love it. Im considering using it compete in nationals this summer.
Love it… now.
Hated it before.
When I first got my Sugar, I couldn’t stand it. It was cluncky and heavy. I thought it bumbled through tricks like a camel trying to dance ballet to Beethoven’s 7th.
Then one day I needed a bearing. I pulled the Sugar off the shelf, threw it for awhile to test the bearing to see if I wanted to poach it, and immediately received a phone call. Mid-toss, I’m standing there pulling my phone out of my pocket as the thing spun down and slowed when something amazing happened… I went to bind and zip! It pulled right back up. I thought “wow, that was nice. Maybe I’ll give it a second chance.”
After about 2 hours off tosses, and progressively harder tricks, I got the feel for it. It played great, it just took some getting used to.
Now, I no longer think it to be clunky, it’s actually quite nimble once you learn how it plays, and has easily made it’s way into my daily rotation.
It can handle any trick I can throw at it, and the cost was half as much as some of my other throws which play at the same level.
I would definitely recommend it.
