Try to make the lighting better next time.
It looks like you have the light coming in at an angle, and that causes one side to be well lit, and the other side dark.
Try finding a way to keep the light coming right at you.
Or,
If you want to get that “shadow” affect.
Have some light on your other side as well with the main light coming in at the angle.
