The symbol of American yoyoing?

The Prodigy was made by Yomega.

…and machined by One Drop. With design help from Spin Dynamics, I think?

As far as I know, the only Duncan that One Drop machines is the Barracuda.

That’s what I meant to say, then I got distracted and wrote the wrong thing. My post doesn’t even make sense the way it is, it’s just a random statement (that’s incorrect). I was unaware of the Barracuda being od machined though.

Oh wow. I had no idea One Drop machined both of those. I just thought David and Sean help with the design of the prodigy. Thank you for the information.

If we were in the '90s, I’d say Duncan and Yomega…along with some other names like Playmaxx.

Today I’d go along with RecRev and One Drop, 2 of my favorite yoyo manufacturers. Granted I only have 1 One Drop throw, my first OD throw has left a great first impression! Can’t go wrong with any yoyo that’s made in good old 'Murica

Ahhh the good ole days. You know, like 6 years ago bwa ha ha ha. Don’t know why this popped up for me to reply?

Duncan for classic, One Drop for quality, YYF for how big it is competitive. The new YYF California USA edition is pretty up there for an America YoYo in my opinion. Though the traditional plastic Duncan Butterfly and Imperial is something even unfamiliar friends can recognize.
