I love it when I start seeing micro-yo-brew companies starting to bloom. When Leo had showed me everything String Theory had planned for the 2010/2011 yo-yo season, I was floored by the designs and attention to even the minor details that go into making a good yo-yo a great yo-yo. It is even more exciting when a young yo-yo manufacturer gets national recognition on a major marketing campaign. This was the case with the Singularity by String Theory. In a UK marketing campaign, Sony picked the Singularity as the yo-yo to use because of it’s clean lines, bright colors, and killer nondescript logo. While Sony was looking at how the yo-yo looked, I am looking at how the yo-yo performs beyond the first impression. String Theory sent me the Quark and the Singularity. With a positive review on the Quark already established, I was anxious to see if the Singularity could measure up.
