Can anyone tell me how to hook up to / play on a server?
- Click multiplayer
- Go to direct connect
- Type in server address
Then the rest is straight fore ward
Also I wouldn’t call it necro for five days this thread doesn’t deserve to die. I have been playing minecraft since the late stages of Alpha. Just got back into it today been off for a few months and I’m glad to be back
No, but what’s the address? Numbers or a website?
From what I experience it is always an i.p. address which you enter when you click direct connect I do not have one i could give as my old server is gone
I keep on getting various errors such as null, connection timed out, and something about java socket extension. Any ideas?
You just have a crappy connection, or are connecting to a crappy server.
Or the server could be off
Typically we get 30 meg download and five meg upload. Any servers you’d recommend?
I got one my brother and I play on this one all the time it is
I tried logging in there and got failed to login: null
I’m stuck on pocket edition because my CPU can’t handle it, and what do seeds do???
it’s cool some times it does that I know that server is having some problems now.
There’s a kid at my lunch table that was obsessed with minecraft, it was all he could talk about. We eventually had to ban him from talking about it. I have the PE, it’s okay. What I want is an app that connects to the online version, all features included.

A SEED is a bunch of numbers that are connected to making a specific layout if land.
More simple> it’s a number you put in to make your world a certain type. Like a desert world, a Jungle Biome world or a PC village world ect.
Each time you make a new place it has a seed. Some people enter their own which can be found on websites to generate what they want.
