I have to eat my own words and admit that 10 seconds is actually really short for a trick. I had what I thought was a very quick combo and it kept going over 10 seconds no matter what I did. I had to axe a laceration at the beginning and do a subtle time lapse of one section to squeak it under. But the link has been sent.

The editing plan:

1.Music will be voted on

2. Kclejuene will piece together video, in an order he feels is the best, will add music, and title. Then he will dropbox it to me.

3. I will crop, do visual edits, tweak, dropbox to Proboscis

4. Proboscis will tweak and make anything better he can, changing anything needed. He will do a type of credits, and final edits. He will then Dropbox it to me and kc

5. Anything that kc, me or Proboscis really despise will be removed by me. I will then proceed to upload to youtube in a medium quality for phone/tablet users, then high quality for computer users

Shouldn’t really need many visual edits, and I’m pretty sure cropping won’t be necessary. I’ll have you guys check it over once all the videos are in.

No, i dont mean cropping i just mean, I DONT KNOW WHAT ITS CALLED.

You act like I don’t understand in the first place…. The thing I’m confused about is how you guys are supposed to continue working on an already edited project.

Unless you’re all using the same project from the same editing software via Dropbox, kclejeune has a point here. It’s gotta go to one true “editor” who will do it. You can still have the title of “editor” and do things like suggest order of tricks, song selection, etc. Book editors actually do very little grammar and spelling (there are proofreaders for that) and primarily make suggestions for content and direction (“line editors”). I suspect it’s similar for video. But at the end of the day when you’re not working on the same files, there’s gotta be just one “final” editor.

Let’s not see anything derail the project, by the way… it’s a great idea and you guys should be proud of the initiative. Those of us who believe in it and who took time out of our days to film a clip are dying to see a final product!
