That’s why you don’t do 2a inside the house.
Thanks, that raised my confidence.
Your advice is so next level, I don’t know if I can reach you anymore.

Don’t be mean. Maybe this is a younger kid and he is only allowed to do it in his room… think bigger people. Be nice.
Guys come on. We don’t have to be jerks.
OP-Do you use the fan?
You can get a light fixture for $20 or less at Lowe’s or Home Depot and that should give you more clearance.
Well, I did suggest changing the fan out for a light fixture, as well as rearranging the furniture…
I have yet another solution: Buy a Mighty Flea!
I missed that, my bad.
If the Flea is to small, there is always the executive.
Or actually, now that I think of it, there is a Yomega that has rubber on the rims. Atlas I think? or something like that?
Just playing with a shorter string might help.
I was mostly joking about the Flea/couldn’t help myself…
Just take the yoyo off the string and practice as if it were there.
Here is a guy in a contest doing it : totally legit contest

I honestly just created this thread for advice on changing the light fixture. I have considered all of your advice. I think that some of you might have misunderstood the first post because I was not clear about what I was asking. No need for the hate.

I looked for that video of Charles after seeing that other one…
It’s not hard at all to change out the fan for a light fixture, if you’re at all proficient at DIY stuff. Just get as low a profile one as you can find. you should be able to attach it right to the fan box (mount).
