A couple of months ago Jaxon, the owner of Alchemik yoyos approached me and asked me if I would like to try one of his titanium prototypes. Obviously I said yes!
After several weeks of back and forth with USPS, I finally received the yoyo last week but I wanted yo do something special with it. So I decided to start a graphic novel series in the form of Instagram reels.
The idea is simple: Images with text and yoyo alternate in order to tell a simple story. I try do to tricks that play along with the story (Towers, Starts, Triangles, you get the idea).
Since I cannot draw even if my life depended on it, I used some A.I. and I did the same thing for the music composed.

dope project! only criticism i have is that the text is harder to read viewing on a phone. not impossibly so, obbiously, but certainly not the easiest. love the whole idea behind the project and the execution is fantastic
Trying to get better at it. The idea is that you pause and take the time to read the story. Sadly, the 90 sec time limit does not allow for longer pauses between slides. I am noobie in canva editing trying to get out of the noob zone.
doing great so far! i read quickly and have good eyes so I’m good. it was more a tweak than anything. i love this concept though. @suspense does similar work incorporating art and story into yoyo concepts and I’m stoked to see more from both of you as well as others that may want to do the same. there’s so much creativity swimming around in this community and i love that
