A POM iteration of their initial organic metal yo-yo, the “MK1 Contact,” which first graced the scene in 2021.
The Tangent boasts all the fantastic attributes of the Contact, including a delightful schmoove groove at its center, enhancing its crispness for binds and regens. Furthermore, with short bearing posts, the Tangent simplifies bearing swaps, eliminating the need to also change the axle when transitioning from unresponsive play to responsive play using a slim C bearing.
The Contact (which this was based on) had an eye logo (contact lens), so this yoyo also got an eye logo. I expanded it into the eye of providence (triangle with sunburst) to better fill the area in the hub. I’ve been using triangles as part of my general brand (see the penrose triangle on the mk1 box) so it made sense. I am not actually a member of the yo-yo-illuminati.
