as time goes by, I’m really seeing big differences between the prices and performance of yo-yos.

for example, not that many years ago, Yoyorecreation was making really high performance yo-yos and you knew they were going rot set you back at least $100 to $200. and few people complained about the prices because they knew the seemed like a good value.

Yoyorecreation continues to make great performing yo-yos. And most/not/all still cost at least $100+

I’m not even saying this New Strand yoyo is alone in what it offers. but that being understood, the YYFr’s Strand is one of the New wave of yo-yos that cost around $50 and play as well or even better than yo-yos costing 2 or 3 times more.

The Strand brings a few things into clear focus.

  1. its a $50 yoyo that out performs most yoyos that also cost about the same price…making it an Excellent choice for cost/value.

  2. The Strand at $50, plays as well as many yo-yos costing ‘several times more’… making it an Outstanding value, even compared to many other higher priced yoyos, even Titanium.

let me put it this way> you buy a Titanium yoyo for lets say, $300. A week later, you buy a Strand for $50.

within 10 minutes you start wondering why you have a yoyo that costs 1/6th the price of the Ti yoyo and is even more fun and outperforms the more expensive yoyo.

I fully understand that titanium yo-yos aren’t expensive just because of the potentially higher performance factor. Titanium yo-yos, even the ones that don’t play that ‘Hot’, are more expensive because they cost more to make.

regardless, unless ‘seriously’ expensive yo-yos are a must have, some of these $50 yo-yos simply kick the high dollar yo-yos right off the game board.

I easily have 30+ Titanium yo-yos. probably 40.

this $50 yoyo stands in the shadow of none of them.

its that good in my opinion.

just the money saving, budget friendly factor alone helps subsidize the cost of more extra large Pizzas with everything on them. so…theres that…
