Any help on Squirrel… I keep finding the string is not staying slack, even if I’ve done no tricks before hand and I’ve got rid of all tension.
Any tips with the whipping motion to keep it open?

Looks to me like all other whips I know. What happens to your string? Do you have more details?
It’s always twisting up like you would when you get string tension.
One thing I do which may sound a bit strange is I really use old string. If it lost its springiness it will not twist at all. I also play 4A with Paracord sometimes because of that reason. Give it a try works wonders.
For the rest I have the classic tips:
Keep the loop wide open before you whip
Keep tension till you release
Whip fast
Right one more thing if you use fresh string. If you wanna remove tension quickly just pull on both ends hard and release the NTH. Do it once or twice and string should be neutral.
Nice. What thickness?
I am not sure since I own a lot of Paracord. I think it is 1mm rough texture which works best for me.
Or 2mm… can try to measure tomorrow.
