I see a lot of messages here about taking elements from different yoyos, to piece together the perfect Frankenstein, but I would say you should do what you want. The other yoyos already exist. They are excellent for sure and inspiration always comes from outside, but there is also huge overlap between many models and there is much repetition too. Just throwing the next copy onto the pile of copies, seems pointless to me. So maybe being a deliberate outsider is a more fruitful path.
