It’s that time of year we take all the good and the bad and put them to work! Out with the old, in with the new, and so, I decided for this Spring Cleaning I will be getting back into high-volume walking again, as I started dipping back into less and less. I want to go back to accomplishing, and so I will be hosting an event for self-betterment this Spring. I will be working on myself too as well as improving much more at yoyoing on these walks. I plan to start practicing full-body playing!
Growing up I was always the one flunking gym classes and not caring, but having a hard look at the future and the ones I love, yeah, I want to be the best I can be for them. Although, the true motivation comes once you have a dog! For about two years now I have been walking about three times every day, more-or-less. There were some bouts of struggle and inconsistencies, but I am still here two years later willing myself out to walk still, and I have reaped so many benefits through this. It doesn’t really do much for weight loss and mental health, but truth is, you have to use the benefits to help lose weight and work through mental hurdles. That’s where Spring Cleaning comes into place, out with the bad, in with the good! Room’s an utter mess, fell into mental pitfalls, and more, and I am glad to work on them finally.
For the event", I plan to walk 20k steps every day, I will update everyone on the progress, and if I reach my goal in 50 days I will buy myself a nice yoyo, maybe someething rarer or special? I encourage anyone wanting to participate in this event to simply find something they are unhappy with this Spring and work on it! We’re all in this ratrace together, we all have areas we can improve on, and I will be happy nonetheless simply finishing my goal. It may encourage others to start walking maybe?
The event will run from April 13th-June 1st. There MAY potentially be a hiccup along the way, and if needed I will finish when I am able to if I have to delay it due to personal life stuff. However, unless anything gets in the way like that, there is no excuse when it comes to me. Rain, sun, or snow, I will walk.
Anyone and Everyone is welcome for any reason they want to improve on or for, even if it’s just trying to land a hard yoyo trick!
