Spring Million-Stepathon (Day 40 Update))

So a LOT happened today that I want to talk about.

First.. the titanium came! I threw it only a few times, it is going to stay in its box until I complete the event. From what I tried.. it was very fun!!

Second.. @AudreySickburn worked with my request for a horrible spiral idea, and this was a much better design for the yoyo. I will absolutely be playing with this a lot. I now understand what’s so cool about them!! I also got the Acorn so I’ll be playing around with it too! It’s very funny to play with, I like it.

And finally.. wow. I got a gifted G2 in with the Ti Koi for an issue I never saw with the sale or service. It is.. stunning. My first G2.. I’m still getting acquainted with the yoyo, but it plays really cool. Catching it on the string feels quite satisfying, I don’t know how to describe it yet. I love it though, and I love this community. I may be a little afraid of opening up but people sure are making me do it!! Thank you all. 13 more days!

Grilled Cheese is always such a treat when I have it. I barely eat all day so it’s so good when I get back from an 8k step walk!

Have I never gone over the ratios I use? Might as well now!!

In the first little bit I eventually decided on 40% 40% and 20%

For years I used to take about 3 short walks a day, so I had a baseline routine set up. Some days sure I could just not take one of those walks, but a routine this longlasting needs to always be kept up or else the brain will start making you missing full days as the new habit.

So, 40% 40% 20% was NOT good pacing. At wake up (any time really, I’m super kind on myself with sleep since I have a couple or few disorders affecting sleep, be kind to yourselves!!) which is 7-9am I will not wake up any other time lately. If I wake up too late I need to skip eating so I can get out there and put in an hour-and-a-half of walking. The second walk is 1pm. This will be gone over why it was bad pacing but you can probably guess why. The last is at 7pm. This has always stayed this was from the start of building these routines. Back in the start I used to only do one walk, then two, now three. At one point I toyed with 4 and 5 but that’s way too often. 3 is too often but I need routine.

So.. I thought about 33% 33% 33%, so 7k 7k 7k, but an extra 1k a day is far too much. 20k is already a lot!! 6.66k is not easy to mentally route and sort. So, from this all, and bc having 1 short walk is amazing, 8k, 8k, then 4k is perfect. However, after walking an hour-and-a-half and coming back only to see I have to do the same in an hour or two.. it was not fun or manageable. So I stuck it to 8k 4k 8k. This is a perfect ratio. I take a long walk to wake up, then half that to get out those steps, then a long walk to cool off before bed. Great perfect ratio for me!!

Anyways, the grilled cheese was sublime!!

It seems I got bad news today when checking Facebook as I was joining a G2 group.

I will try to keep this brief and light but. One of my exes passed away. I dated her about 8 years ago. Needless to say.. wow. I was wholly unaware. I will keep it on that note.

Can you believe it is only 11 more days left? I can’t wait to play with the Koi a lot more.

Also.. would anyone want to help me stay motivated and learning yoyoing after this event is over? Due to walking I have had no energy leftover to learn new tricks. I’m also looking for neat yoyos. Life will keep moving on.. I can’t faulter now. I love you all. Tomorrow I will try to do one last report before the finale. Thank you everyone for being here with me during this event.

A lot happened today

I want to talk a little about it, but the resolution.

I received this before as an apology, but found out it was also a gift. At first I kind of was ashamed I didn’t have a G2, and I thought the person gave it for several reasons and thought I had one but, he gifted it because of an apology and also because I never had a G2 before. A lot of reasons and drama happened and in the end, something clicked.

Everyone had my back.. everyone did. I.. was at a loss. I still am. I am so thankful for meeting everyone, and now I love this yoyo because the guy who gifted it to me stood up for me. Now, I will not let it go for any reason. It was such kindness from everyone that I now love it. Thank you Dabs for my first G2. And thank you for being a real one. And Bloo.and Strawhat and everyone. I love everyone who is there for me, I love this community, and how we all have eachother’s back.

Life is getting better day by day, but steps back can be big, however.. the progress hasn’t been lost. Thank you everyone who is supporting me in or out of my interpersonal life. I love you all.

I will sleep with this tonight. It is mine and no one else’s. I love him.

I’m getting close to passing out as I took my sleeping pill during my walk.
