I was yelling at the kids and she didn’t like it. Then she spent the rest of the night yelling at the kids. Go figure. I also chose to prioritize helping a kid with homework rather than waste away 2+ hours going somewhere to be non-productive.

No. I’m supposed to have gone to “Work” at her mother’s barber college. All that does is prevent me from having a good workflow and forces me to be non-productive. Also, too many kids running around there, not safe to yoyo.
I mean, I’m not being paid, I’m essentially babysitting people who don’t need babysitting. She was gonna stay at home anyways, probably didn’t want to share yelling at the kids with me. Plus, I’m over $200K out of pocket over that place and it’s never gonna make my investment back, so I’m not really concerned about what happens there anymore.
BUT, if she hadn’t wasted so much time earlier in the week and last week involving that barber college, this project would have been done!
The priorities are out of whack here. The priority isn’t this house or the kids, it’s my wife’s mother.

Well I was going to say don’t get her a yo yo- I just read a RC Car story that had very similar parallels…any way long story short the guy was selling a rc car painted pink prettey cheap.

Day at the spa: told me it cost too much and didn’t enjoy it.
Dinner out at a place she lies: picked something she didn’t like, blamed me.
Jewelery: Not big enough, not quite right… I got a .75 carat in a necklace mount for our 1 year. Wasn’t big enough. Oh, did I mention her wedding set: 1.51 E XX cut(flawless) main stone, with a .1 carat on either side, and then a .8 on either side of those(5 stones) and that was the engagement band. The wedding ring itself is 3 .1 carat stones in the center(in a line) and .8’s on the outside. It’s a matching set in platinum. Cost me well over $24K. I think I set the bar too high! It is an amazing set though, and I designed it. It still gets compliments.
Flowers: Can’t get something perfect due to her superstitions. I can’t keep up.
I figure if I go with a toy(my Christmas preset one year was a Z Windups Lance, cost her all of $1), at least I’m gonna catch crap for what I DID do, rather than what I don’t do. Lesser of two evils.

a fun game to play is cats and the cradle, it helps a lot when im performing tricks such as plan d or ladder escape, cats and the cradle is a string game where you make a string pattern and your partner tries to keep the string pattern and bring it onto their own hands. I used to play this game, any string works even regular yoyo string! Just make sure its long enough. There are many tuts on this game, and it is pretty addicting!
here is a tutorial incase you consider, i dont think his wife would try another yoyo after that incident, she should probably take a break from yoyoing until she feels comfortable to try again.

Yoyo has nothing to do with this latest “whatever the heck she’s going through” garbage. The thread started out this way, but then she, like this thread, took a wicked turn.
Right now, I’m bugging apartment owners trying to get in somewhere.
Either way, I’m mostly in a self-defense mode.
My 1st rule of thumb when buying a woman a present is this: buy her something I want…then when we break up, I will get it back all nicely wrapped up in spite and anger…

Current status is she’s on one of her bad attitude rampage anymore. The next one may be around the corner. We’ll see how this plays out. She has been using my Speed Dial. She’s sleeping it gravity pulling it, rocking the baby and walking the dog. There may be hope!
