I’m proficient at snap starting a YoYo without gloves on, but I cannot figure out how to snap/hand start a YoYo with a glove on. My fingers just slip off.
Any pointers would be very appreciated.

Hm I’ve never had a problem. Just push really hard with your thumb.
Rather than snapping like you usually would, try holding it in your non throwhand palm and sliding your throw hand to push it off. It’s a bit flashy but it gets the job done
