Have you tried using different strings? Maybe try using strings made from rougher materials??
- Put slipknot on backwards like @hsb showed in his picture
- Double slipknot deathgrip
- Twist slipknot before tightening on finger, my preferred method:
You have to be using very slippery string and throw ridiculously hard for the loop to move with this method
Some good info here that I’ll be trying out. Thanks for asking about something I didn’t know I needed. Lol. While we’re on the subject how do u guys tie your slipknotts. Is there any faster different methods that I’m not aware if. One of the things that’s annoying to me is having to tie my finger loop everytime I grab a new string and I just tie the old fashioned way a regular double not like how u tie ur shoes. Is there a better faster way to create ur finger loop knot?

I’ve found this technique to be perfect! Stays right in place always with zero rotation. I find it gives me a ton of control over the string!
