Slipknot loosening on Breakaway

Can anyone tell me how to keep my Slipknot from spinning on me when I’m doing Breakaway and side mount tricks

Look to pick up some rosin from Zipline Strings or Airetic. You rub some on your loop and it won’t move. Works best with slippery nylon.

You don’t have to buy branded rosin, a normal “beeswax” stick will suffice…I think it works better too - the markup for branded packaging isn’t worth it to me

You can literally get 6x the amount of wax as opposed to buying branded rosin

Thanks I just tried it and it’s working great you can feel it wanting to slip but it doesn’t

Also make sure the part of the slipknot that doesn’t have the original loop on it is facing inward.

I usually twist the double strings before I tighten works great for me🙌🏽

You can also turn the string around on your finger. By that I mean if the slip knot is on the pinkie side of the finger, turn it around so it is on the thumb side. Depending on what way you are throwing the knot will tighten or loosen.

The Zipline rosin is $2.50 and a small amount lasts forever.

Okay.
But you really need a mint bro!

lol :stuck_out_tongue:

@Durfee has given the proper solution. You need to face the knot on your finger the correct way and then it will not loose.
