silicone found in garage

hi i just found a bottle of silicone in my garage and it said it was for windows, doors, attics and basements. would this be good to silicone my pgm?

No it’l work just fine. Thats basically what I use. Works Great. Plus if it doesn’t, just pull it out and put some new sili in. No big deal.

I only use permatex because it has heat ratings. The hotter the temp rating the longer it will last. So not all silicone is the same.
