Hey guys, I know people have trouble removing side caps. I just don’t have a suction cup lying around the house! The way I remove side caps are by using duct tape to take them off. How do you remove sidecaps?
The way you did it. 
You can use either duct tape, a knife, or a suction cup.
Next time your around a pet store look in the filter section. They use the suction cups to hold tubes and stuff in place. cheap and easy.
When i first had my Lyn Fury, I hit it on the ground on accident and a cap came out. I spent the next hour with an X-acto knife botching the other one basically mutilating it. I don’t recommend this method…
However I found a suction cup on a window ornament that my mom has.
I found a suction cup in my turtle tank ;D
I drill a hole in the cap and use a corkscrew. works fine for me.
