I was really impressed by the spin time as well. I threw one into my flat earth, and the spin time is wild! Now I can finally use this yoyo the way ive always assumed it was intended to be

Checked with a 3d print to make sure they would fit a side effect yoyo (deepest state for example) and ordered a batch of 3/4 spec Ultem c blanks. Should be here early next month.

Full disclosure, I did the math and determined I’m losing money on the bearing blanks with the free shipping I don’t really care because I didn’t set out to make money, I set out to make things but…
While I don’t want to make money on these, with soon to be 500 total blanks in stock when I get the rest of my shipments I don’t wanna lose $4-6 on every order either, because at some point that’s gonna add up lol.
What I am going to do is some price revamping, I’ll calculate exactly what my cost including tariffs, city taxes, etc etc. (booooring) is and then I’ll edit the shop to just charge you what these cost me to make + run the shop in total, the shop is already set to charge you what shipping costs me so I’ll just let er rip after that.
The actual price reduction is gonna be cents not dollars just to warn you lol these were already not far from cost pre coupon once I started looking at numbers. I’ll leave the YYE coupon open until I update the shop with finalized costs in case anyone wants to squeeze an order in before I make the changes.

Alright shop update is done! Only in stock is the A bearing blanks for now but I have created coming soon pages with projected costs (subject to tariffs not changing) for all the blank varieties I’m having made. ETA on the delrin is late October, eta on the 3/4 spec side effect compatible blanks is early November.

I absolutely love the no jive but I worry about its future since they stopped making them. I’m assuming the parts are also all old stock and not being made anymore. It’s why I made 3d printable no jives, and am thinking about this for similar reasons. The patents are expired so I figure some preservation work could be beneficial.

You could try gluing the bolt on the messed up end but the n it’s stuck in that config

Is it the nut/bolt that stripped or is the wood sheared to where the hex nut spins in its recess?
