Nice similar hustle but mowing lawns with a rotary mower and raking leaves or shoveling snow.
Most loopers in that 5-15 USD a yoyo are in that cheap easy to replace category and parts are rarely available. This is where the modding community usually steps in.
Amazing the events we remember. I was a communications cryptologist filling a direct support billet in a marine division that got to land on a beach from a Mike Boat on one occasion. Only boat I was on while in the Navy.
So far I’m really enjoying it. I haven’t fussed with adjustments yet, laced it up with stock string cut to length and hit go. It has nicer quality feel during play and when it tilts slightly it is still controllable. I didn’t order any extra response replacements since they were out of stock at the time. They appear to be back in stock. I’m wondering if you could 3d extras of those. Would still have to have an adhesive for the back of. I’ll have to look more closely to see if the response has some sort of locking in. Don’t want them spinning I’m also wondering about how the bearing movement side to side affects play.
String is such a personal preference thing but now with what’s available today kitty slim or normal depending on your loopers gap is probably your best bet . Looping wears down strong quick so the best string is a decent bulk string so you can swap it when it wears down and not break the bank.
If you can find any Sochi makes an excellent slim looping string in bulk but I haven’t seen it in a while.
