I would consider that since Hans is one of the most knowledgeable individuals actively involved in yoyos(Worldwide). And that he is certainly one of the very best at teaching kids to throw. And that he has an entire arsenal of yoyo products to choose from.
That he would not even consider using a DV 888; unless he felt it was potentially effective to a reasonably functional level for learning.
And consider at early learning stages; the DV888 can take a pretty good beating🤔
