I bought a metal-rimmed Yo-Yo on eBay, and the rims were tarnished. SO, I threw it down, took 3X sandpaper, not sure what grit, and put it on the rims multiple times. Now, it shines incredibly, and has cool lines down the side in silver.
Nice! That is one way to do it. The other way is to get some metal shine stuff from Walmart, but either way works. Good job.
I prefer 400 grit paper, then 0000 steel wool and then some aluminum polish. Makes it purdy.
