So I just bought a sewing machine oil
To use as a thin lube but it’s so thin is it supposed to be like this or…?
And will it actually work??

I’ve not used it but thin is good. I can’t imagine a reason it could be too thin.

Is it semi responsive at all? Are you getting any surprise binds?

Working as far as what? The oil just offers some longevity to the bearing along with making it quieter. The trade off is the bearing will be a little responsive normally until it’s broken in.
If the yoyo seems to be playing fine you are all set.

I use sewing machine oil in my bearings, it’s great stuff never had any issues with it’s really thin and sometimes I think it works better than most yoyo lube designed for yoyos
