Mods have specified many times that PayPal should be the only form of payment. It would be no problem and I had to him I would still buy it but first he has to send me proof of ownership. Everyone sends photos of “name, date, year and yoyo” in a photo for this exact reason. They’re scams and only way to get your money back is threw PayPal G&S. Sending a simple photo that is very important should be no problem. He started insulting me, sending me many messages but never the proof. I asked him over 5 times to do so before making this post. He refused. I believe the buyer who sent threw BTC did not receive proof of ownership aswell. I am ready to remove this post as soon as proof is provided. Safety for buyers n sellers is very important
You did the smart thing not paying through a method you are not comfortable with. But at that point there is no deal being made.
He doesnt need to prove ownership. He is not interested in selling to you at that point. Why would he still need to send you proof of ownership.
Are you saying you wanted to pay through the insecure payment methods if they had provided proof but they didnt provide it? If you werent buying it through his requested payment method then why would he provide proof.

Told him many times that I will make this post if he’s doing the simple thing of sending a photo. He kept insulting me. After I made the post he still came back to insult me more n more. But NEVER sent the photo. ALSO this would be all over with if he came here and sent a photo for everyone to see. Instead he reads these then comes back to insult me in private messages

I think everyone knows by not doing PayPal is big red flag but can be passed however not sending a photo to authenticate the fact that you have the yoyo (which mind it’s not a cheap and it’s a rare yoyo) then it’s a major big red flag. All this fuss over a photo, people who are selling $30 yo-yos are posting with date n user on paper.
Let’s just call it a day. You want to do paypal, he says no deal.
This doe not make him a scammer. He’s had good trades here before.
