Has anyone bought rubber shields to see if it would help a dry bearing stay clean, or even isolate the noise of a dry bearing? Been wondering this for a while, and I didn’t want to hijack the deepest state thread.

Bumping this, does anyone know where to buy rubber bearing sheilds? I did a little looking since then and came up empty.

You’re probably better off getting rubber sealed bearings than buying just the shields. C bearings are r188 i believe

agreed, i don’t you’ll find just the shields. fast eddy bearings sells bulk rubber shielded bearings if you’re curious
