This Saturday night is my school’s talent show. i will be using the CLYW Chief. its responsive for some odd reason though. i made a thread a few weeks back asking why. i was told to get lube. i got lube. i used it and it didn’t help. then i tried using new response pads. still responsive. i could really use some help before Saturday
Clean your bearing. Then take the top off your lube and dip a pin in it. Touch it to a few balls on your de shielded bearing. A drop of lube will make it more responsive, as well as pads.
Lube tends to make it responsive. Clean the bearing, then just lightly lube, if at all. Some people like to run w/o any lube.
I didn’t know that :). Might as well go dry since lube needs a little break in time.EDIT* Sorry Jhb, I didn’t see you posted at the same time :).
Well I’m not sure what I did. I played with it for 2 hours and it became unresponsive. It plays like its brand new now.
Easy! You broke in the lube and the new response.
