Ohh yeah I’m all in on the kasm the next time there’s a run. I missed it by less than an hour last time and kicked myself. I really wanted those cat caps lol

I just want to say that the photos on the web of the Origen don’t do the blue color justice. Mine is much a deeper blue color than I expected.

It’s amazing that something this nice can be found for this price point. I still think the RBC is better, overall (It has a better finish and I love the dimples), but I don’t regretting having both.

How does it perform/feel in terms of play?

It’s nice. Would recommend.

I don’t worry about trashing The Thing. It feels very durable, and the finish is much better than a butterfly xt. I’ve also stopped worrying about trashing kasm, and I’ve found that one to be the most consistent response in a plastic responsive. Weekender and daytripper are tied for most consistent response in metal. I’ve got a strong suspicion that has to do with smaller bearings, but I’m not 100% sure because I’ve had so much trouble with this 3rd hand popart.

Origen arrived. @ $20 I’m not going to be afraid to take it outside.
