Replay Pro vs. Big Dipper?

Opinions?

I have owned both and really like the big dipper. The replay pro was one of my first quality throws, and for the money its great, but never was one I was anxious to pull out when I had time to throw. The BD feels more like the traditional CLYW I am used to, shares the same basic design as the Borealis.

For the money the replay pro is a great yoyo, but for me it doesn’t matter as I didn’t really care to throw it. The big dipper is just a good of a deal for the money in my opinion. Its a more premium feel and contruction for only $35.

The bearing was a little loud at first but got quieter the more I threw it. I put in my preferred string and ran with it. I bought two of the dippers so my son and I have a pair of half green and half purple dippers, pretty cool.

The action on the string is very solid, plays like a metal yoyo more so than the replay did for me.

My opinion? Replay Pro is better. I don’t really care for the Big Dipper.

I’ve owned both and prefer the Big Dipper as well . It feels more solid and smooth than the Replay Pro. On the other hand I may have gotten a bad one because it no longer spins no matter what I do which is a little disappointing since I really like the colorway. I have changed the bearing and everything. I have no clue what’s wrong with it. I tried A local throwers replay pro and it played like mine used too so I’ll probably get another one since it’s only $16. I need to get another First Base for a friend so that will be a decent excuse to tack it on to that order haha.
