so my replay pro is acting responsive, but the bearing is still relatively quite so I don’t think it needs to be cleaned
That’s odd. I’d clean it anyways just to be safe. My One Drop did the same thing. Soaked the bearings in acetone and bam, no more knuckle busting.

I had the same exact problem before. To fix it, I would lightly loosen the yoyo. It would come back though, and eventually, that wouldn’t work anymore. After not using it for a while, though, it started to play fine. Overall lesson, don’t screw the yoyo too tight.
Quiet doesn’t necessarily mean spinning free. Unscrew it, and give the bearing a good flick with your finger. You want at least 8 or so seconds of spin. Any less and it probably just needs a good cleaning
