Rave, Nightmare or Weekend?

Now that I’ve narrowed down my first bimetal choices.

Which one resists tilt the most, which one does fingerspins the best, which one is the best for intricate technical play, which one is the best for horizontal play?

I’d also like a blasted finish.

I prefer the Weekend over the Nightmare, but I’ve never really looked into the Rave.

You know, you can just but something without asking for recommendations every time.

Which would you recommend? Remember the requirements I set out.

Rave. Every time.

Does it have a blasted finish?

Yes. It’s blasted.

Since the YYO Shift has been announced, ahve you tried the prototype? If so, tell me whether it fits my style or not comapred to the RAVE.

I don’t know what your play style is, so I can’t answer that.

Compared to Rave, the Shift is lighter, smaller and does not feel much like a bimetal to play. This is a good thing I feel, because it doesn’t have a heavy, hefty feeling like a bimetal, yet retains all of the benefits that bimetal brings.

Did you take alsook at Start the riot by yyr rebellion it seems really Nice.

Wondering, does the shape of the Rave remind you of the Turning Point Leviathan 7, or a TP yoyo in general?

Insofar that it is an organic bimetal. Other than that, it bears a slight resemblance, but not much more.

However, I have heard that it plays almost identically to the Leviathan 7. This is pretty darn good considering it costs less than half.
