Hi Brandon,
I’m so sad I didn’t get to see you at Worlds 2018.
Anyways, I have a question for you.
How has life changed from when you were sponsored by Werrd, compared to being the co-owner of Offset?

Hey Ken,
Man I’m bummed we didn’t get to meet either! Maybe next time
Love your question!! Being part of Werrd really felt like being part of a yoyoing family! Stuart Brown (the man behind Werrd) is an integral part of the Australian community and really is the hub for all things Yoyo in this part of the world. To be a member of his official team was awesome. Also playing alongside players like Vu Ho, Skip Mitton, Eric Tranton and many others that I initially idolized felt surreal. It felt like being admitted into the “cool kids club”. It’s something I don’t think I’ve quite experienced since.
Being part of Offset, you’re more fostering that feeling. People look to you to solve issues, make things cool and make stuff exciting. It’s a different role and definitely a different feeling, but I love the learning that comes with Offset. Whereas I liked being a part of Werrd for the feeling of community, I like Offset for the responsibility and learning.
