My first question is (1) How do you think starting OFFSETYOYO has helped you grow as a person? Secondly, (2) If there was one thing you could tell your past self before starting OFFSETYOYO, what would it be?

Love these questions!!

  1. I think if OFFSETYOYO did anything it helped me try on an entrepreneurial mindset. I never thought of myself as entrepreneurial prior to that. I don’t think I would consider myself especially entrepreneurial right now either, but working with Nic to try and “run a business” made me think in a way that I never thought I’d have to.

  2. Man, that is an excellent question. One that is also quite timely as I’m thinking of changing up Offset quite a bit.
    If I were talking to Brandon of the past right before he embarked on starting OFFSET I’d ask him this.

Why do you want to start this company in the first place?
What would this company look like if it were absolutely perfect in your eyes?
If I told this was 100% going to fail, would you still do it?

I think had I answered these questions for myself prior to starting, the brand would have felt more purposeful and consistent.
