Naw. Butterfly is a steel axle. If you want it more responsive, use thicker string or pry it apart and sand down the axle slightly, and superglue it together.
Changing the string tension helps a ton. Learn to use sidewinders and ufos.
Also, but I’m sorry but there might not be a video today. I am currently suffering the Martian death flu, which has left me with barely enough strength to type this. Symptoms include achiness, throwing up, headache, and exhaustion all at the same time.
Feel better man. Stay hydrated is a number one priority, lots of sleep. Rest up.
Yep. Vernors does wonders for an upset stomach, by the way.
I managed to summon enough strength to record.
Just go buy a Butterfly. That’s what I’ve been using lately, and it works really well. Plus, if you don’t throw like you’re trying to break the world-record for sleep time, poly string actually lasts pretty long on a Butterfly.
More of a combo than a trick.
Been working on a 3d Eli hop regain, leg wrap trap to elihop, and kijibo.
Currently working on kick flips. Landed 3 in a row on my first try
Nice. I still can’t get those.
And sorry, but I didn’t have time to film today, to much homework. I’ll give you guys double tomorrow.
I still played my 10 minutes though. I’m working on some interesting rejection concepts.
I can’t stop doing this, it’s so much fun.
Well, now my camera isn’t working, and I was just about to film. :-
I’ll try to find another one.
And you thought you’d seen the last of me! Sorry, just extra homework/power outage weirdness. ;D
Just found this thread. I like this idea. I definitely won’t be doing it every day, but I’ll try to play fixed axle more often, and maybe post vids on instagram. And I only read the first page of this thread, but anyone who likes fixed axle should ask mrcnja about his fixed axle sleeves. I bought some and they can literally turn any C bearing throw into a fixie (I like the grooved ones a lot better). They are only $2-3 and I highly reccomend them. Fixed axle MVP is really fun ;D
Hard trick.
