I’ve been throwing a Protege with a konkave bearing for a few months now and it’s been great but lately I’ve noticed that when I throw it, it snaps at the end of the string really hard. It’s weird because it never did this until recently. I’ve tried changing string and I cleaned the bearing a few days ago but it still happens. Anyone have any ideas what might be the problem?

It most likely is the response losing a little bit of its grip. Unless your binds are slipping I wouldn’t worry about it.
Yeah, it is normal wear and tear of the response system. It would not affect your play much. If you are really bothered by this, try replacing the k-pads.
My binds are horribly slippy but I haven’t had this problem.
Dam it snaps at the bottom that must be a solid throw!
I don’t like it when my protostar did that to. It made me cringe. k-pads are a GIANT pain for me because im always replacing them. But my proto’s a bit disfunctional and the binds only slip when there’s no response at all! They also fall out and are the bane of my existence. (not really that would probably be global warming and people saying "its a myth! as they drive away in there hummers)

i put red rtv in my protege i like it much better than the stock responce system
