Inspired by the performance and popularity of the Accelerated, the Positional takes that proven design philosophy in a new direction with a D bearing setup and premium 7068 aluminum construction.
The Accelerated earned a reputation for its speed, agility, and power while maintaining a compact, competition-ready profile. With the Positional, Motion YoYo revisited those ideas from the ground up, designing a yo-yo specifically around the unique characteristics of a D bearing rather than simply adapting an existing model.
Every element of the Positional was carefully refined to maximize efficiency and performance. The smaller D bearing delivers quick acceleration and a distinct feel on the string, while the surrounding weight distribution has been tuned to maintain stability and minimize unwanted spin loss. The result is a yo-yo that feels fast, responsive, and remarkably confident throughout long trick sequences.
Machined from high-grade 7068 aluminum, the Positional measures 54.2mm in diameter and 45.5mm in width, striking a balance between maneuverability and control. It also carries over the signature “rim bump” design first introduced on the Accelerated, a feature that has become a recognizable part of Motion YoYo’s design language.
Ahh man I can’t resist the B grade earf wash! I was gonna wait but I am much more easily tempted by a 50 dollar B grade. I always love B grades because about half the time, my A grade yoyos eventually develop the kind of vibe I’ve gotten stuff B graded for, so it’s basically the same thing.
On my B-grade the only thing I’ve seen so far is ano related. It almost looks like something dripped on before blasting and resulted in a few unblasted shiners. No big deal. Play seems unaffected.
Oh man I was racing to get a Hibiscus and didn’t even notice the b-grades. Could have been a nice daily carry but my order has already shipped, definitely a steal for whoever grabs one.
