Please Help!!!!!

hey guys,

so i have a Duncan Panda, and one day i was doing off string, and it hit the ground, and the caps fell off. Now they don’t go back on, witch is fine with me but when i try to thumb grind there’s little bumbs about every half inch. It slows down the yoyo by about 90%. Is there any way i can take them of without destroying the yoyo ??? ??? ??? :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :-\ :-\ :-\ :’( :’( :’( :’(

Yes, but it would take some pacience, and modding skills.

You need to set it up on a Drill, and sand them off.

OK, i have no modding skills

The caps should go back on. Are you pressing them in evenly? Pushing on one side only will make it hard to put it back on.

if i were to put the caps back in, it would not be able to thumb grind any more!
not that it can now

i have this problem with my freehand exept my caps broke getting them off. you can sand them off with regular samd paper or i would just get another yoyo.

I don’t think the Panda was meant for thumb grinds. But if you insist, try sanding the bumps down by hand. Just make sure you do each bump slowly; you don’t want recesses where the bumps used to be because you sanded too much.
